Equine Bodywork Policies

To ensure the most effective and comfortable session preparation, horses should be clean, dry, and have their hoofs picked prior to the appointment. This allows me to focus fully on bodywork and helps your horse receive the greatest benefit from each session. Please be aware of our cancellation policy, as an excessively dirty or wet horse may require the session to be adjusted or rescheduled. 

Please be aware of our cancellation policy and provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. 

Sessions may be rescheduled due to severe weather conditions to ensure the safety of both horse and practitioner. This falls under our cancellation policy, and I will work with you to find the next available time. 

For the safety of both horse and practitioner, it's essential to ensure proper session preparation. Horses should be reasonably comfortable being handled. A handler (owner, rider, or trainer) must be present at all sessions. If cross-ties are not available, or if the horse is not comfortable on cross-ties, a handler must hold the horse for the duration of the session. Please be aware of our cancellation policy, as I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a session if a horse presents a safety concern. 

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged, in accordance with our cancellation policy. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Venmo, and Contactless Payment options such as credit/debit cards, mobile wallets, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Please ensure you are prepared for your session.

Equine bodywork is not a substitute for veterinary care, and I do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. If your horse has a medical condition or lameness concern, please consult your veterinarian. Please also be aware of my cancellation policy and available payment methods before scheduling your session. My goal is to create a positive, supportive experience for both you and your horse. Clear communication and mutual respect, including proper session preparation, help ensure the best possible outcomes.
